Free Geek

If you have an old computer or an old DVD player that you are looking to get rid of, Free Geek can take if off your hands! Free Geek originated in Portland, Oregon as a way to reduce, reuse, and recycle technology all while giving back to the community.

In 2009, Free Geek opened in the South Minneapolis. Minnesota Live photojournalist Bill Middeke checks out some of the gadgets they are receiving.
