Zimmer Wants Clean Practices Against Jaguars

August 13, 2018 03:39 PM

The Vikings will hold joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday and Thursday in Eagan and if history is any example, there could be a few scuffles.

The Washington Redskins-New York Jets joint practice had a fight break out on Sunday and the Vikings have a history of minor fights against other teams, too. In 2004, the Vikings and Chiefs held a couple joint practices that had a few scuffles.

"It's important that our guys know we're not going to put up with any trash talking," Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer said on Monday. "We're not going to put up with any fighting. We're not here for that. We're here to get better."

The Vikings' first joint practice with the Jaguars is Wednesday at 2:45 P.M. at the TCO Performance Center in Eagan.
