Vikings Diggs, Rhodes Patch Things Up After Skirmish

It sounds like Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Xavier Rhodes are friends again.

On Tuesday afternoon at camp, Diggs caught a ball over Rhodes and celebrated by throwing the ball into the stands. Apparently Rhodes wasn't crazy about the act that Diggs made, because on Wednesday during team walkthrough both Diggs and Rhodes got into a shoving match and had to be separated. Both players were held out of the afternoon practice. Today, both Diggs and Rhodes cleared the air.

"The everyday passion is that you want to be great, and it is two people who want to be great and we're not going to settle for anything less, we just have to channel it the right way," Stefon Diggs said. "Sometimes brothers fight, anyone who has siblings go at it, at the end of the day we still love each other," Diggs added.

"We're competitive, we compete with each other every day, but foremost we're family first. It's a brotherhood and sometimes you're just going to go through it, then we came together as a team. We knew what we did was wrong and we're accountable for it," said Rhodes.

The Vikings will face the Denver Broncos on Saturday night.
