Wild trade Lakeville-native Kloos to Anaheim

The Minnesota Wild have traded forward and Lakeville-native Justin Kloos to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Pontus Aberg.

Aberg has 19 points (11 goals, 8 assists) in 37 games with Anaheim this season.

It's his third NHL season after Nashville drafted him in the second round - the 37th overall pick of the 2012 Draft.

The 25-year-old Stockholm, Sweden native played in Nashville and Edmonton last season.

Kloos was Minnesota high school's Mr. Hockey in 2012 at Lakeville South and captained the Minnesota Gophers in both his junior and senior seasons.

He scored 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists) with the Wild's AHL affiliate in Des Moines.

He appeared in one game with the Wild, making his debut in October 2017.
