Wild Prospects Hoping to Leave Impressions at Development Camp

The Minnesota Wild brought a collection of recent draftees and potential future prospects to St. Paul this week for the team's annual Development Camp.

The four-day camp not only includes practices and scrimmages, but also seminars for players on heath and training issues.

Among those attending this year's camp are this year's draftees Filip Johansson (1st round), Jack McBain (2nd round) and Fridley-native SAm Hentges (7th round) along with draftees from prior years like forward Ivan Lodnia (2017), defenseman Louie Belpedio (2014), Finnish goalie Kaapo Kahkonen (2014), current Minnesota-Duluth forward Nick Swaney (2017)  and current Minnesota Gopher defenseman Jack Sadek (2015).

Other invitees include Tyler Sheehy (Burnsville/Gophers), Matt Robson (Gophers), Hunter Shepard (Grand Rapids/Minn-Duluth), Jackson Cates (Stillwater/Minn-Duluth), Zeb Knutson (MSU-Mankato), Gerry Fitzgerald (Bemidji St/Iowa Wild), Carter Randklev (Moorhead/N. Dakota), Brennan Menell (Woodbury).
