Monday Practice Report: Wild Convinced They Have Another Level Heading into Game 4 vs. Jets

April 16, 2018 03:36 PM

Monday was a recovery day for the Wild, as over half the team didn't hit the ice during open practice time. But the whole team was at Xcel Energy Center for team meetings after Sunday night's Game 3 win vs. Winnipeg, and KSTP Sports was there too.

Boudreau downplayed the hit forward Marcus Foligno put on Jets defenseman Tyler Myers in the second period. Myers missed the rest of the game with what the Jets called a right leg injury.

"Anybody that thinks anything different that there was something to it is trying to create something that isn't there," Boudreau said. "He went to block a shot and he fell. That's it."

Foligno and Myers were teammates in Buffalo.

Staal touched on getting contributions from all four lines on Sunday and what playing with Mikael Granlund again is like -- they were reunited on the top line.

Dubnyk talked about how he bounced back from giving up a soft goal to start the game.

Game 4 of the best-of-7 is Tuesday night at the "X" at 7 p.m. The Jets lead the series, 2-1.
