Eden Prairie-native Nick Leddy, Edina's Anders Lee and Warroad's Brock Nelson give Minnesotans a reason to follow the New York Islanders.

While they were in high school, the trio all skated in the State Hockey Tournament.

Lee made five State appearances - three with St Thomas Academy and two more after transferring to Edina.

Leddy won the Mr. Hockey Award in 2009, leading Eden Prairie to their first-ever state title.

Nelson's Warroad Warriors made the State final four in each of his last three seasons of high school hockey.
