Vikings coach Zimmer previews Sunday's game vs. NFC North rival Detroit

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer addressed reporters on Wednesday morning, providing analysis of the Lions. The 4-2 Vikings travel to take on the 2-2-1 Lions on Sunday. Kickoff is at noon.

Zimmer touched on how well Lions QB Matthew Stafford is playing, what to expect from their defense, and the developmnent of Lions center and former Chanhassen HS star Frank Ragnow. Ragnow transitoned this year from guard to center.

Zimmer also talked about TE Irv Smith Jr., and the fallout from the controversial Packers win over Detroit on Monday.

The Vikings defense enters Week 7 allowing the fifth fewest yards per game (310.3) and the sixth fewest points per game (15.5).

Zimmer is 3-2 in his career in games in Detroit.
