Vikings Coach Zimmer Praises Front Office, Talks Bailey, Johnson, Robinson Additions

Talking outside in the rain, it was an abbreviated Wednesday news conference with Vikings coach Mike Zimmer. He did address two of the three new player additions in kicker Dan Bailey and defensive tackle Tom Johnson.

Zimmer said that with Johnson playing three-technique, Jaleel Johnson will move exclusively to nose tackle. 

Zimmer praised the aggressiveness of the front office, with the moves to add receiver Aldrick Robinson, Johnson, and Bailey. Leaving the Vikings is Daniel Carlson, David Parry, and Stacy Coley. A source tells KSTP Sports that the team hopes to re-sign Coley and put him on the practice squad.

The 1-0-1 Vikings host the 0-2 Bills Sunday at noon. The Vikings are 16.5 point favorites.
