Updated: November 18, 2019 02:20 PM

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer met with reporters on Monday afternoon in Eagan, and continued his praise of quarterback Kirk Cousins.

The Vikings' signal-caller was 18/23 for 261 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's second half to lead the Vikings back from a 20-point deficit vs. Denver, and a 27-23 win. Cousins also has the longest current streak of passes in the NFL without an interception.

Zimmer also touched on the hole they dug vs. Denver and how hard it is to overcome that, what his team's schedule is this week during the bye, and much more.

The players are being given Monday afternoon through the weekend off. In Zimmer words, with the bye much later than normal this year, he wants his guys to get as much rest as possible this week.

The 8-3 Vikings return to action on Monday, December 2, at Seattle.
