Vikings Locker Room Report: focused on Lions defense and securing ball

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph and wide receiver Adam Thielen both spoke Thursday morning inside the Vikings locker room at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.

Rudolph spoke about his role in the new offense this year, the Lions defense, how head coach Mike Zimmer likes to bring around Viking alumni to the team, his mentality in the new offense, and his relationship with Steve Jordan. 

Thielen discussed the importance of the game, how important starting fast on offense is for the team, how good Lions cornerback Darius Slay is, and and how much of a challenge the Detroit defense will be this week.
