Vikings DT Linval Joseph excited to be cleared for team work

Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph was able to rejoin teammates during 11-on-11 drills for the first time in 2019 on Tuesday. He underwent shoulder surgery in the offseason.

“It’s been a great road to recovery,” Joseph told KSTP Sports. “I want to give a big shout-out to the training staff and the weight room staff."

Joseph is preparing for his sixth season in Minnesota, constantly thinking about bringing the Vikings their first Super Bowl title.

 He started all 15 games that he played in during 2018, recording 77 tackles (47 solo), five tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery that he returned 64 yards for a touchdown at Philadelphia.
