Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is a household name in Minnesota for many reasons, including his popular summer camp for kids.

About 1,000 kids, ranging in age from 6-14, are participating in the two day camp taking place at Providence Academy in Plymouth.

"It's amazing to see how this camp has grown in five short years. It's a blessing to see so many kids are having fun and learning about football. I couldn't be happier," Rudolph told KSTP.

This year Vikings teammate Everson Griffen stopped by to help.

Rudolph is proud to work with the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities to provide camp scholarships for kids who normally wouldn't be able to fund the event.

"It's the kids that keep me coming back wanting to do more. I remember what it was like when I was their age and it's my turn to give back and it's very rewarding to me to see those kids enjoying themselves," Rudolph added.
