The tweet said quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski has been named interim offensive coordinator and will handle the play-calling duties.

DeFilippo joined the team prior to this season after spending two seasons as the quarterbacks coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, helping lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl title last season.

Prior to that, he served as offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns.

The move comes after the Vikings offense’s frustrating performance in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks Monday night.
