The first day of full squad workouts at Vikings Training Camp means different things for different players. For defensive end Everson Griffen, it's a fresh start after a nightmarish 2018 season.
"Last year was hard, but I have the right team around me now," Griffen, a 3-time Pro-Bowler, said on Friday.
Griffen missed five games last season after struggling with mental heath issues and finished the season with only 5.5 sacks - matching his lowest total since 2013.
"My teammates, the coaches, the whole organization is behind me and that feels good."
Griffen is entering his 10th season with the Vikings.
