The Vikings have plantly of fresh memories of this week's opponent - the Philadelphia Eagles. Some bad - the loss in the NFC Championship game two years ago, and some good - last year's win sparked by one of the more memorable touchdowns of the last few seasons.
After a 38-7 loss in Philadelphia in the NFC title game after the 2017 season, the Vikings went back to Philly last October and pulled out a 23-21 win. The highlight of the game was defensive lineman Linval Joseph's 64-yard fumble return touchdown. After the score, Joseph was shown on camera sitting on the bench wearing sunglasses and taking draws from an oxygen mask.

The 2019 edition of Vikings-Eagles comes as both teams are still seeking an identity. Both teams are 3-2 through five weeks of the seaso nthat have included highlights and lowlights.
For the Vikings, last week's win at the New York Giants served up needed relief after a brutal outing against Chicago.
Meanwhile the Eagles vaunted defensive front finally returned to its form recording ten sacks last week against the Jets. The outburst came after the had only managed three sacks the entire season to that point.
The Vikings and Eagles kick off Sundat at noon at U.S. Bank Stadium.
