Vikings QB Case Keenum Monday: 'I Gave Everything I Got'

January 22, 2018 03:42 PM

The Vikings cleaned out their lockers on Monday. It'll be the last time that some players are at the facility because inevitably there will be roster turnover. One player whose future is uncertain is pending free-agent, quarterback Case Keenum.

Keenum met with reporters, and expressed a desire to remain a Viking. But admitted that he hasn't even fully digested what took place in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

Using the franchise tag at a cost of approximately $23.5M is an option for the Vikings, if they want to keep Keenum and can't negotiate a long-term deal.

Keenum also gave love to future Giants coach and current offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. He's expected to be introduced by the Giants later in the week.
