'Vote Rosie' Campaign Underway to Get Twins OF Rosario to All-Star Game

Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario is among the American League's 'Final Vote' in a contest to make the All-Star team.

The Twins are doing all they can to help Rosario make his first All-Star appearance, wearing t-shirts Monday pregame that said, 'Vote Rosie,' a play off of the popular ABC show 'The Bachelorette' in which the featured contestant asks her dating counterparts if they will accept her rose and move on to another round in the dating show.

The other final vote candidates are Seattle's Jean Segura, Los Angeles' Andrelton Simmons, Boston's Andrew Benintendi and New York's Giancarlo Stanton.

Rosario is enjoying a breakout campaign in which the left fielder is batting .306/.346/.544 with 18 home runs and 53 RBIs in 85 games.
