Twins dedicate commemorative home plate at U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority and the Minnesota Twins dedicated a commemorative home plate  at U.S. Bank Stadium on Tuesday morning.

The newly installed plaque will be a celebration of baseball memories from the H.H.H. Metrodome. The plaque, shaped like home plate, sits on the main concourse of U.S. Bank Stadium by the Legacy Gate and represents the original location of home plate at the Metrodome.


Former Twins manager Tom Kelly and former Twins 1B Kent Hrbek helped unveil the plate.
