Dobnak, who was having a great spring, was in the mix to start the season as the Twins' No. 5 starter.

His story is remarkable, and has been well-documented. He was hoping to make his first Opening Day roster.

Dobnak is throwing with a catching partner, getting in regular bullpen sessions. He wants to be ready if/when MLB declares there will be a 2020 season.
