After agreeing to terms with SS Jorge Polanco on an extension, the Twins have wrapped one up with OF Max Kepler, a source confirms to KSTP Sports.

The Twins have scheduled a 10 a.m. Eastern news conference for Friday.

The source said that Kepler will sign a 5-year, $35M extension, with a $10M team option for a 6th year, or a $1M buyout.

Kepler hit .224/.319/.408 with a career-high 20 home runs last season, and he's considered a plus defensive player.
