Hundreds of kids at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare got a special treat on Tuesday when some of the Minnesota Twins players showed up for a holiday party. Former Twins players Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau teamed up with current Twins teammates Byron Buxton and Trevor Hildenberger at the hospital where they played games and took pictures with patients of the hospital.

"This is something I've been involved with for years. It's so easy for me to be a part of this great cause that makes so many kids happy as we approach the holidays," said Mauer.

"Now that I'm retired it makes it easier for me to be more involved in the community and with me spending more time with my own kids I see the importance of being here. It's a win win for not only them, but for me too," said Morneau.
