Arguably the most exciting and potentially most useful call-up comes in the form of top pitching prospect Brusdar Graterol who is expected to pitch out the bullpen. The hard-throwing righty regularly hits triple digits on the radar gun and possesses a plus slider. He had been a starting pitcher throughout his minor league career but will transition to the bullpen during the stretch run. Graterol is a combined 7-0 with a 1.92 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 61 innings pitching between Triple-A Rochester, Double-A Pensacola and the GCL Twins this season.

Also notable, Ian Miller is expected to be used mostly as a pinch runner as he led all of Triple-A this season with 35 stolen bases.

Fan-favorite Willians Astudillo will also be back with the big league club after a prolonged 56 games absence as he dealt with a lingering left oblique strain. Astudillo was in the lineup tonight as the Twins took game three Detroit.
