Wolves Forward Taj Gibson responds to Instagram snafu

December 17, 2018 02:45 PM

Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson's verified Instagram account liked a comment over the weekend suggesting the organization needs to relieve coach Tom Thibodeau of his duties. Gibson was asked about that on Monday morning, and said it wasn't him. He stressed how much he loves Thibodeau, who he also played for in Chicago, and how he loves Minnesota and his teammates.

The Wolves lost on Saturday to the Suns, the worst team in the NBA, and are now 0-11 on the road vs. the Western Conference. Gibson missed the game to attend his aunt's funeral in North Carolina.

Gibson isn't sure if his Instagram account got hacked, or how or who liked the comment regarding Thibodeau, but was straight-forward in saying it wasn't him. He even called Thibodeau.
