Rose expected back for Wolves in Monday's game vs. Clippers

Timberwolves interim coach Ryan Saunders met with reporters after Monday morning's shootaround. The Wolves host the Clippers on Monday night.

Los Angeles is five games up on the Wolves, and in 8th place in the West. The Wolves, at 25-30, sit in 12th place. In other words, as much a long-shot as it is for the Wolves to make the playoffs, any sliver of hope includes a win Monday night.

On the injury front, Derrick Rose (ankle) says he'll play after missing six of the last seven games. Jeff Teague is back after playing on Friday. Jeryd Bayless (toe) is questionable, while Tyus Jones (ankle) is doubtful and Robert Covington (knee) is out.
