Stillwater girls basketball defeats Roseville behind future Gopher

The Stillwater Ponies girls basketball team defeated the Roseville Raiders 78-60 Friday evening at Roseville High.

Roseville came into the game undefeated and ranked fourth in the state for class 4A. Stillwater entered the game with only one loss and ranked sixth in class 4A.

Sophomore guard Alexis Pratt had 24 points in the game. Senior guard, and future Gopher, Sara Scalia also chipped in 24 points to help lead the Ponies to the comfortable victory.

For the Raiders, junior forward Jayda Johnston lead the way with 18 points.

Stillwater will next play Wayzata on Monday, while the Raiders face Henry Sibley on Tuesday.
