Senior guard Sara Scalia scored 20 of her game high 22 points as Stillwater rallied for a 65-52 win over Eastview in a Class AAAA semifinal game Thursday at Williams Arena.

The Ponies, now 28-2, advance to the championship game for the first time in school history. They will face Hopkins on March 16 at Williams at 8:00 p.m. The Royals defeated the Ponies in a November game.

The Lightning, the defending AAAA champions, made it hard work. After falling behind early, the Lightning went on a 16-6 run to take a 30-25 lead at halftime. In addition to Scalia, the Ponies had three other players in double figures -- junior forward Liza Karlen had 17 and sophomore Alexis Pratt added 15. The Lightning will play Centennial for third place March 16 at Gangelhoff Center at Concordia University at 6:00 p.m.

Lauren Glas led the Lightning (25-6) with 14 points and senior guard Macy Guebert contributed 12.
