This comes after a disappointing loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday and recent struggles on offense. Diggs did not attend practice on Wednesday, but his absence was not injury related, according to the Vikings' injury report.

Diggs said he missed practice due to the onset of a cold.

"I feel like there's truth to all rumors, I won't dress it up," Diggs said. "I won't be speaking on it."

Offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski said Diggs was "locked in in meetings" and active on the practice field Thursday.

The Vikings reassured Wednesday they will not be trading the wide receiver. Diggs caught seven passes for 108 yards during Sunday's loss against the Bears.

Thursday was the first day in two weeks Diggs had spoken to reporters. He signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the team in 2018.
