Sheehy Leads Gophers to 4-2 Win Against Wisconsin

Gophers captain Tyler Sheehy scored two third period goals as the 12th ranked Gophers men's hockey team beat No. 17 Wisconsin 4-2 Friday night in Madison, Wisconsin.

Sheehy's first goal of the night gave the Gophers a 2-1 lead. He then broke a 2-2 tie with what proved to be the game-winner.


Steve Johnson scored for the Gophers in the second period to tie it at 2-2 and Darian Romanko scored an empty-net goal with 1:37 left in the 3rd period.
