Coach Fleck talked about how happy he was that the Gophers fought for a big win against Fresno State. He also spoke about the big loss of starting running back Rodney Smith, who is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Finally, he spoke about the play of freshman quarterback Zack Annexstad and his ability to extend plays in order to find a receiver down the field, instead of just simply running for some yards.

The Gophers play Miami of Ohio Saturday at 2:30 pm at TCF Bank Stadium.
