Vikings rookie receiver Olabisi Johnson caught two passes for 35 yards in Friday's preseason win in New Orleans, including an 18-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter from Sean Mannion.

KSTP Sports talked with Johnson on Monday morning, and also offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski about Johnson's progress.

Johnson was the only one of the four Vikings rookie receivers to be targeted. He was a 7th round pick out of Colorado St. in April.

The Vikings will have to go from 90 to 53 players on August 31, and Johnson is hoping to stick, whether on the active roster or on the 10-man practice squad.
