Wild forward Nino Niederreiter could return to the Wild's line-up on Tuesday night after missing the last six games with an ankle injury.

Wild head coach Bruce Boudreau said it would be a game-time decision on whether or not Niederreiter takes the ice against Winnipeg Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center.

"He's trending in the right direction," Boudreau said after Monday morning's practice. "Hopefully, if he's ready to play tomorrow, we've waited long enough."

Niederreiter scored a career-high 25 goals last season and signed a five-year contract extension in the offseason.
