The Minnesota Wild's opponent for the 2021 Winter Classic at Target Field is the St. Louis Blues. 

The NHL made the announcement during the Wild's game against the Blues Sunday night at Xcel Energy Center.

Earlier this month, the NHL announced that the Wild would host the 2021 Winter Classic at Target Field in Minneapolis on Jan. 1, 2021.

This will be the Wild's second outdoor game after beating Chicago 6-1 at TCF Bank Stadium in 2016.
