Minnesota Wild Sign Hendricks; Re-Sign Seeler

The Minnesota Wild signed free-agent center Matt Hendricks to a one-year, $700,000 contract on Sunday and also re-signed defenseman Nick Seeler to a three-year deal worth $2.175 million.

Hendricks is a Blaine native who spent last last season with the Winnipeg Jets. This will be his 11th season in the NHL.

Seeler, a 25-year old Eden Prairie native, played 22 games with the Wild last season and recorded the second-best plus/minus rating in team history by a rookie defenseman.
