Minnesota United is expecting a record crowd at their final home game of the season Sunday against the LA Galaxy.
The team said it has sold and distributed more than 50,000 tickets for the matchup, which begins at 4 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium.
The Loons started a campaign this summer - #50kToMidway - to pack TCF one last time before the team moves to the brand-new Allianz Field next year.

The previous record for soccer attendance in Minnesota was set more than 40 years ago, according to Minnesota United, when 49,572 people watched the Minnesota Kicks beat the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 in the NASL Conference Championship at Metropolitan Stadium.
The team has plenty of festivities planned before, during and after the match, including "throwback pricing" at concession stands ($2 hot dogs, 75 cent fountain sodas and more) and a fireworks display.
Minnesota United began playing at TCF Bank Stadium when they joined MLS in 2017. Allianz Field will have a maximum capacity of 19,400.
