Minnesota United FC is streaking after a 2-1 home opener win Saturday over Chicago. It's a two-game winning streak.

The first goal came in the game's 55th minute when Miguel Ibarra delivered a brilliant cross to Ibson. Ibson's initial chance was stopped, but he scored on the rebound.

Chicago tied it just three minutes later on a rebound of its own. Elliot Collier capitalized on a rebound surrendered by Matthew Lampson.

Minnesota took the lead back in the 65 minute when Sam Nicholson headed home a great cross from Ethan Finlay.

The Loons controlled play most of the scoreless first half.

Saturday was the last home opener for United FC at TCF Bank Stadium. Their new home in St. Paul at 94 and Snelling Avenue will be done by next March.

The Loons (2-1) next play at New York next Saturday.
