The Minnesota Twins have placed All-Star pitcher Jake Odorizzi on the 10-day Injured List.

The team announced the move Wednesday, and said right-handed pitcher Zack Littell has been recalled from Triple-A Rochester to take Odorizzi's spot on the 25-man roster.

Odorizzi suffered a blister on his right middle finger during Tuesday's night's game against the Oakland Athletics, the team said.

This season, he has gone 10-4 with a 3.15 ERA (88.2 IP, 31 ER), 30 walks, 96 strikeouts and a .214 opponent batting average in 17 starts. He was named to the American League All-Star team on Sunday.

Littell, who will be making his third stint with the Twins this season, has appeared in five games out of the bullpen with four of his five outings being scoreless appearances.  Littell has appeared in 13 games (seven starts) for Rochester posting a 4.27 ERA (52.2 IP, 25 ER) with 60 strikeouts and 19 walks this season.
