Lynx Draft Carlie Wagner in 3rd Round

The Minnesota Lynx took selected Gopher Carlie Wagner with the final pick in the third and final round of the 2018 WNBA Draft on Thursday night.

Wagner ranks third in Gophers history with 2,215 points and second in 3-pointer made with 307. Wagner is a native of New Richland, Minnesota. 


Also on draft night, the Lynx acquired the draft rights to forward Jill Barta, the 32nd selection in this year’s draft and a 2019 WNBA Draft second round pick from the Las Vegas Aces, in exchange for the draft rights to center Ji-Su Park, the No. 17 overall pick in this year’s draft, and guard Kahlia Lawrence, the No. 24 overall selection.
