The Minnesota Lynx announced on Friday head coach and general manager Cheryl Reeve has been signed to a multi-year contract extension.

Terms of the deal were not released, per team policy.

"I am grateful to Glen and Becky for their ongoing support and commitment," said Reeve in a statement. "We have shared an incredible decade of Lynx basketball together, both on and off the court, and look forward to the years ahead."

Reeve wrapped up her 10th season as Lynx head coach in 2019, her second in the dual role of head coach and general manager. On Sept. 18, she was named the WNBA's Basketball Executive of the Year after leading Minnesota to its ninth consecutive playoff berth, becoming the first woman to receive the award. She has also earned WNBA Coach of the Year accolades in 2011 and 2016, according to the team.

In addition, Reeve is the league's all-time leader in playoff wins (40), playoff winning percentage (.702, 40-17) and tied for the most championships with Houston's Van Chancellor (4).
