Lynx guard Odyssey Sims pleads guilty to DWI, to serve 10 days under house arrest

Minnesota Lynx guard Odyssey Sims pleaded guilty to one count of gross misdemeanor DWI on Tuesday.

Judge Francis Rondoni issued Sims a one-year sentence, of which she is to serve 10 days under house arrest at her home in Irving, Texas. The remainder of her sentence will be suspended after completing four years of probation.

Lynx guard facing DWI charges

Two gross misdemeanor DWI charges were filed against Sims in Hennepin County on June 6. One of those counts was dismissed in court Tuesday.

Sims started all 34 games this season for the Lynx, and she led the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game.

The Lynx later issued a statement saying Sims would be suspended two games without pay to start the 2020 WNBA season.
