Gophers Improve to 2-0 With 78-69 Win Over Utah

Freshman shooting guard Gabe Kalscheur (DeLaSalle HS) led the Gophers with 19 points, as they beat Utah at Williams Arena Monday night, 78-69. Kalscheur made his first five three-point attempts.

The Jazz and Bucks had NBA scouts at the Barn to watch junior Amir Coffey and senior Jordan Murphy of the Gophers, plus Utah senior guard Sedrick Barefield. Murphy had 11 points and 17 rebounds, while Coffey had 14 points and six assists. Barefield tied for the Utes' lead with 14 points.

The Gophers next play Texas A&M Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. Central in the Vancouver Showcase.
