Two Big Ten teams will meet in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000 when No. 2 seed Michigan State faces No. 10 seed Minnesota in the second round.
At stake is a spot in the East Region semifinals next week in Washington, D.C.
The Spartans beat the Gophers by 24 points in their previous game this season.
Michigan State coach Tom Izzo says both teams are entirely different than they were six weeks ago.
