The Crusaders controlled the game right from the tip, jumping out to a 14-0 lead to start. Senior guard Kobey Woolhouse was on fire in the first-half to help Mayer Lutheran to a 39-18 halftime lead. Woolhouse ended the contest with 16 points, including four three-pointers.

The second-half was not any kinder to the Thunderbirds. With the score 63-28, and a running clock with over eight minutes left, the Crusaders subbed out their starters for the game.

Mayer Lutheran will play Russell-Tyler-Ruthton noon on Friday at Target Center.
