Lynx' Fowles and Sims named WNBA All-Star reserves

Minnesota Lynx center Sylvia Fowles and guard Odyssey Sims were voted to the pool of reserve players for the 2019 WNBA All-Star Game.

This will be Fowles' sixth All-Star Game and third as a member of the Lynx. She his averaging 14.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, while shooting a league-best 58.9% from the field. Fowles recorded her 158th careeer double-double on Sunday night, making her the all-time leader in double-doubles in WNBA history.


Sims is averaging a team-high 15.7 points per game this season and it will be the first All-Star apperance in her six-year WNBA career.

This is the eight straight season the Lynx have had multple All-Stars.

The All-Star game is Saturday, July 27 in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on 5 EYEWITNESS at 2:30 p.m. C.T.
