Leonard goes for 31, Clippers hand Timberwolves 11th straight loss

Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points in the ninth straight game that he’s had at least that many and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 118-106.

Towns had 32 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolves, his fourth straight game with 30 or more points, but it wasn’t enough to keep them from losing their 11th in a row. That ties Minnesota’s skid from December. The Wolves got within four in the third quarter, but the Clippers pulled away.
