El-Amin, 38, was a star at Minneapolis North in the mid 90's, helping the Polars win three straight state championships. He then went to star at UCONN, winning a national championship in 1999.

A 2000 second round NBA draft pick, El-Amin played briefly for the Chicago Bulls. He spent a majority of his pro career playing in Europe.

The current Polars are going for a three-peat themselves this season.
