Mahtomedi high school junior guard J’vonne Hadley recently eclipsed the 1,000 career points milestone, and at over 30 points per game, is one of the top scorers in the state.

He has helped lead the Zephyrs to a 14-5 record, and gives them a fighting chance to go far in the 3A playoffs.

Hadley scored a school-record 52-points in Friday's win over Hill-Murray, and at 6-feet-6, can play multiple positions. By the way, he says he's not done growing.

Gophers assistant Rob Jeter watched Hadley recently, and he's been a guest of Minnesota for multiple games this season. Iowa, Drake, Nebraska-Omaha, and others are also showing college interest.

Hadley figures to get offers once the AAU season starts in April. He's still determining what program he'll play for, with Nike EYBL Howard Pulley among those in the mix.

Hadley, along with Minnehaha's Jalen Suggs, Prior Lake's Dawson Garcia, East Ridge's Ben Carlson, Park Center's Dain Dainja, Hopkins' Kerwin Walton, Eden Prairie's Austin Andrews, and others, make up a great Minnesota 2020 class.
