Jake Layman returns to Timberwolves practice after missing 39 games with sprained toe

The Minnesota Timberwolves are getting a player back from injury.

According to the team, Jake Layman underwent evaluations by multiple foot specialists and was given clearance to return to practice on Thursday. Layman suffered a sprained toe on Nov. 18 at Utah and has missed 39 games since.
