Hopkins (25-4) used their superior height and a fast up and down the floor style to overwhelm a shorter, but scrappy team from Cambridge-Isanti, 86-53.

Hopkins led the entire way on the strength of 56 points in the paint versus the Bluejackets 12. Hopkins size dominance was also evident in their rebounding advantage, out rebounding their opponent 43-17.

Cambridge-Isanti with just two players at 6’4” was forced to shoot from the outside as they faced a Hopkins front line of 6’9”, 6’8”, and 6’5”. 31 of the Bluejackets 44 field goal attempts were beyond the 3-point line. Henry Abraham led the Bluejackets with 17 points and five assists.

Hopkins will face the winner of the East Ridge-Eastview quarterfinal in the semi’s at 8pm tomorrow night.
