Hopkins boys hoops advances to state tourney with win over Wayzata

Hopkins beat Wayzata, 82-71, to win section 6 in 4A boys basketball Wednesday night.

KSTP Sports was there at Osseo high school, as future Arizona Wildcat Zeke Nnaji had 29 points to lead the Royals.

Hopkins junior Kerwin Walton, who has offers from the Gophers, Purdue, and others, chipped in 25 points.

Hopkins' win is revenge for last year when Wayzata won the matchup to reach the state tournament.
